Choosing a proper ballet school is very important for the parent and the student. It should not only be about where your child's friends go or proximiy to your house. but about where your child will grow as a dancer and as an artist.  Your child will be spending a great deal of time at the studio, so you will want to feel good about your choice. Not all dance studios are created equal, and with no licensing or regulatory system in place, buyers should definitely beware. A poor program can not only create bad habits that are hard to correct, but can also dampen enthusiasm and cause physical harm..Dance studios differ in many ways, so make an informed choice.
